Photography workshop 8/07/10 is titled ‘Cameraless Photography’ which is a workshop designed to introduce the simple magic of photography’s origins. It involves participants in making their own camera from an old biscuit or coffee tin and then make pinhole photographs of the local area, developing them in a makeshift darkroom set up in the hall. Suitable for all ages from 6 years. Then the workshop on 15/07/10 is photographic badge and mirror making. This fun session will give people the opportunity to make their own badges and compact mirrors or collaged images in the design. Suitable for all ages and family groups.

Jenny Chaplin is a well known writer to loyal readers worldwide for her books on Scottish social history and for her articles in the Scots Magazine and the Scottish Banner. She has very kindly offered to run 2 workshops on writing be that poems, books or short stories.

Kids Arts Activities is 1 and ½ hours of Arts and Crafts based activities lead by Alison Dawes who works between local primary schools doing an after school arts activities club.

The Argyll Majorettes are a local majorette school put together in February 2006. They perform at local events throughout the year as well as being a fun activity.

Our Ceilidh dancing session gives you the chance to come along and learn some of Scotland’s traditional Ceilidh dances and prepare for those summer weddings.
