The work of American photographer,
Robert Mapplethorpe, at the Burgh Hall

A selection of photographs by the distinguished American photographer, Robert Mapplethorpe, is to be exhibited at the Burgh Hall early next year.

The works are part of the ARTIST ROOMS On Tour with the Art Fund (now in its fourth year) in collaboration with National Galleries of Scotland and Tate. Mapplethorpe has proven to be one of the most provocative photographers of the 20th century; renowned for his magnificent, large scale black and white prints which have created artistic debate and intrigue. It is a great privilege to be hosting the Robert Mapplethorpe exhibition.
